Dear Marnie I was just logging off when this invitation to view your blog came through. I am almost speechless! It is just wonderful to see your work. Very complex ideas in there. I will study it in more detail tomorrow. Luv K
ReplyDeleteI don't know if one is meant to start these comments like a letter. So I will do without. I have now had time to click on all the images and look at them in large screen format. Apart from the 'aesthetics' of arrangement and tones - the grey, black, brown predominance - both of which I enjoyed - I am very interested in the placing of items one on top of each other in an apparently casual manner obscuring some items, fully displaying others - emphasising a suggestion of ephemera - but also the layering of memories and brief snippets collected over time - which do not come to mind in a tidy sequenced and prioritised fashion - but rather so often as half remembered images peeping out from behind others.
